What We Do Best

Linread Northbridge Redditch is unique in the wide range of aerospace fasteners it can provide:

* Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium or high temperature alloys
* Lengths from 2 mm to 250 mm and diameters from 1.5 mm to 30 mm
* Quantities from 1 to 1,000,000 pieces.

Boasting the shortest, most reliable lead-times in Europe, Redditch has developed state of the art manufacturing and inventory management systems to provide spare parts for the world's aging airframe fleet -- this, in addition to its core competence of bespoke management systems for first-fit product to its long-term strategic partners.

Our History

Founded in 1925 with multiple factories for the production of automotive and aircraft fasteners, Linread has been evolving with the aerospace industry for over 75 years. The Aircraft Products Division was split off for purposes of focus in 1972, acquired by McKechnie in 1994, and merged with Northbridge Fasteners in 1995 to form Linread Northbridge, which has aerospace operating units both in Redditch and Leicester.

Today

Redditch enjoys long-term relationships with more than 100 customers around the world, in part because of its ability to rapidly respond to its customers needs, and in part because of its ability to lower acquisition costs over the life of the parts through tailored customer service programs.

Our Future

Redditch is well positioned for growth within Europe, including meeting the rapidly expanding needs of Airbus Industries either directly or through partnerships.

In particular, as a part of McKechnie Aerospace, Redditch is being presented with opportunities to grow its markets through teams internal and external to McKechnie in the process of collaborative solutioneering of larger and more complicated subsystems.
