DON SCOTT APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF HARTWELL
NOV. 7th, 2007— Placentia, California … Don Scott has been appointed president of leading aerospace latch company
Hartwell Corporation. Hartwell is a member of the McKechnie Aerospace Group, a rapidly growing international aerospace
concern focused on providing innovative solutions for a wide range of applications.
Mr. Scott reports to McKechnie CEO Tariq Jesrai and immediately assumes all operational, sales, and marketing responsibility
for the Placentia, California, based company. Mr. Jesrai noted that, “Don has played an instrumental role in achieving
Hartwell’s growth. Moreover, Don is a well respected and trusted leader who inspires people to achieve higher levels of
performance.”
Mr. Scott joined Hartwell as a Sales Engineer in December of 1986. In June of 1997, he was promoted to the position
of North American Sales Manager where he assumed responsibility for all outside sales personnel. In October of 1998,
Mr. Scott was promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Hartwell Corporation and in June of 2003, was again
promoted to the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the McKechnie Aerospace Structures Group. Mr. Scott
attended Fullerton College in Southern California and Bellevue College in Seattle, Washington studying Business Management.
